Living Bridge Amsterdam

"Living Bridge Amsterdam" is much more than just a connection!

 

It merges housing, a park, and a bridge in one new hybrid building type, connecting North Amsterdam and Amsterdam city center!

This does not only solve the connection over the IJ but helps to tackle the housing shortage in the inner city and offers other important aspects as well.

The design creates social infrastructure, up to 1000 new houses in the inner city, with great views over the IJ and is an integral part of the “Green Loop” strategy for Amsterdam…
